Maurice discovered the museum as an invited guest of a TAA Museum tour several years ago and stayed!

Maurice has a printing trade background and brings skills in photography, graphics and audio-visual displays. These skills have been used in the production of the various photographic displays and film shows that the Museum mounts regularly.

Maurice finds the volunteers and members with their wide experience agreeable company and to be able to ‘rub shoulders’ with some of the ‘grand old men’ of Australian aviation who frequent the museum from time to time is a bonus. Maurice finds them a great stimulus in his quest for knowledge.

Although having had no involvement in aviation previously, he is enthusiastic and has a passion for technical information, particularly engines, airframes and aviation history. He is also a volunteer at the RAAF Museum, Point Cook.
